Public notifications

OHIM publishes a notice when it has proved impossible to deliver a notification (In accordance with Article 41(2) and Article 52(1) of the CDIR and Decision No EX-03-4 of the President of the Office).

Public notification is effected by publication of the following particulars in the public notification notice:

  • an indication of the proceedings to which the publication relates
  • the application number or registration number of the registered Community design
  • the name of the addressee
  • the address of the addressee known to the Office
  • the type of document to be notified
  • the date of the document
  • the place where the document can be inspected
  • the date on which the notice is made available on the Website
