Manual of Design Practice

OHIM’s "Manual of Registered Community Designs Practice" combines the parts of the existing Guidelines which are unchanged since the last formal revision, with amendments reflecting current Office practice. From a practical point of view, the Manual should be the first point of reference for users of the Registered Community design system and professional advisors who wish to make sure they are using the latest information. Unless otherwise indicated, the new text enters into force one month after publication. Formal amendments of the Guidelines will be subject to the customary consultation and the revised draft will be translated into OHIM’s five official languages and submitted to the Administrative Board for its opinion before adoption.
