Video - What is TMview?

TMView is an online consultation tool allowing you to search, free of charge , the trade marks of all official trade mark offices which are participating at national, international and EU level. With the gradual integration of new offices or organisations, TMview aims to be the platform for data from all 27 EU Member States in addition to the information available from OHIM and WIPO.

TMView version 2 now live

As of February 2012 a new version of TMView is available, offering new features to improve user experience including additional searching and filtering options.

There are now 17 offices participating: Bulgaria, Benelux, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, France, the UK, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, WIPO and OHIM.

With the addition of more than 600,000 Lithuanian, Romanian and Swedish trade marks, TMview now provides access to close to 7 million trade marks in total.

Getting the most of TMview:

  • All in one: all TMs - national, regional, international - are visible

  • A new interface including configurable user preferences and search result display.
  • A tab navigation system to open several trade marks simultaneously.
  • New searching and filtering features such as fuzzy search, phrase search, search history and search suggestions.
  • New search criteria: search by trade mark office(s), by trade mark reference number and by trade mark status
  • An alert system to receive notifications when specific events occur to selected trademarks.

The accuracy of the data contained in TMview is the sole responsibility of the offices or organisations providing it. In principle, TMview reflects with certainty their trade mark registers at the moment of consultation.

TMview is a cooperation project between the OHIM, WIPO and EU national trade mark offices.
