OHIM guidelines for using Twitter
- OHIM will use Twitter to improve the flow of information to users that is already made available through other channels.
- The Twitter team does not commit to replying to all messages but may take part in discussions about practical procedures and matters of fact, without prejudice, using their general knowledge of the OHIM's trade mark and design systems and of OHIM's processes.
- Since Twitter is an informal medium, "tweets" should not be taken as announcing any change in OHIM's policies and the Twitter team will not take part in discussions related to external or internal policies.
- Twitter will not be used by OHIM to give any professional or legal advice. If you need specific advice, you should always consult a suitably qualified professional.
- The Twitter team will not take part in discussions about the progress of individual applications and Twitter should not be used as a channel to file official complaints.
