CTM E-Filing has been upgraded to allow applicants using MyPage to opt for an e-mail notification when the CTM application is published. The new feature improves integration with the CTM Watch system, which allows users to monitor the status of selected CTMs. Now, an e-mail notification of publication can be requested directly at the time of application.
OHIM currently sends a letter to the applicant or their representative (Letter 124) in order to inform them of the publication of the CTM application in part A of the CTM Bulletin. This publication opens the three-month opposition period. By using the new e-mail notification feature in CTM E-Filing users will be informed of publication more quickly.
Use of the new feature requires logging into MyPage, the password-protected platform making it easier to do business with OHIM. Further information on how to register to MyPage is available at http://oami.europa.eu/ows/rw/pages/CTM/FAQ/CTM13.en.do#2400

In the confirmation screen of CTM E-Filing a new button is available: “Include in CTM Watch”. By clicking on it, you will be prompted for your MyPage login name and password and will automatically be directed to CTM Watch screen with the alert corresponding to the filed CTM application already created.

The alert will only have one status activated. However, it is possible to add more by clicking on the status number: a pop-up screen will display all statuses that can be selected for the CTM application. Please note that at the time of the filing the CTM application is not yet available in CTM-ONLINE, so clicking on the CTM number will not display any information at this stage. This feature is activated when the CTMA is entered in CTM-ONLINE, normally a couple of days after filing.
Using the CTM Watch service, users are able to select any CTM application or international application and receive an e-mail alert when the application status changes.
As soon as the selected CTM application is published you will be notified by e-mail.
