User feedback helps improve e-Business services

Encouraging greater user involvement in the design and development of the office's e-business solutions has a long tradition. Based on feedback from the last e-Business Users Group meeting the Office has taken immediate steps to introduce some minor improvements to the existing e-business services. The coming month will be marked by changes in OHIM's databases: RCD and CTM Online.

The new release of RCD Online will finally resolve the problems with displaying characters in all 22 official EU languages. In addition to that, the RCD Online database will be thoroughly linked and brought into line with the Official Bulletin. As a side-effect of this, corrections related to the sequences of views of a particular design will now be visible in RCD Online once the correction is done.

Flawless sequencing of views according to corrective Recordals

During July, a new release of CTM Online will focus on improving the update process to assure daily frequency. Furthermore, the Recordals section will show all Recordals published and, from now on, Recordals about to be published such as conversions should also be visible in CTM Online.

MyPage gets better again

Finally, the process of enhancing security features for MyPage should also reach its end. As a result RCD e-filing should be made available to MyPage users. Furthermore, the Electronic Communication tool will be updated in order to include communications related to RCD proceedings. The final goal is to have all official communications related to CTM and RCD proceedings sent via E-Communication; however this process may still take some time and will be introduced gradually.

Further information on related improvements will be communicated via the OHIM website and directly to MyPage users.
