On 27 October, OHIM organised this year's second E-Business Users' Group meeting in Alicante . Around 17 members of the users' group took part in discussions on the state of play of the Office's online tools, and future developments.
OHIM reviewed the recently released services such as CTM-Watch , the new Goods & Services section of the CTM E-Filing tool and the new RCD E-Filing system . Presentations were also given on new services to file and manage oppositions and on a platform to record some changes to the CTM/RCD Register

Users provided interesting and valuable feedback. For example, they stressed that the e-business services are increasingly requesting that the ID numbers of owners are inserted in forms. To facilitate matters OHIM should start consistently reference the owner IDs in official letters or in the databases, in order to avoid representatives having to look up these IDs every time. Making the PDF format the general format for attachments has been also requested, as well as improved performance of some aspects of the OHIM website for users from the United Kingdom .
Taking account of all the user feedback, OHIM will continue working on new e-business services to present to the next E-Business Users Group meeting, to be held at the beginning of next year.
