Public notifications

OHIM publishes a notice when it has proved impossible to deliver a notification (In accordance with Rule 61(2)(e) and Rule 66 of the CTMIR and Decision No EX-05-6 of the President of the Office).

Public notification is effected by publication of the following particulars in the public notification notice:

  • an indication of the proceedings to which the publication relates
  • where applicable, the file number of the Community trade mark application or the registration number of the Community trade mark and the file number of the proceedings
  • the name of the addressee
  • the address of the addressee known to the Office
  • the type of document to be notified
  • the date of the document
  • the place where the document can be inspected
  • the date on which the notice is made available on the Website
