Europol experts visit OHIM
Within the framework of the activities of the EU Observatory, OHIM has hosted a meeting with Europol at its Alicante headquarters, involving anti-counterfeiting and piracy field agents from a number of EU police forces and experts from various industry sectors.
Discussions focused on the need for close cooperation between enforcement authorities and public bodies such as OHIM, with emphasis on the methods and resources needed to combat increasing infringements of IP rights.
