The OHIM's challenges in 2006

A new year begins and the OHIM is facing some important changes.

The reduction in fees for Community trade mark applications and renewals, and the introduction of discounts for filing electronically have resulted in immediate benefits to both applicants and owners.

As of December 2005 the number of applications filed electronically overtook the number of paper filings.
