Quality Enhancement Initiatives at the OHIM
Although the OHIM has, since 2002, offered its staff a varied and wide-ranging annual training programme ranging from areas as diverse as Finance & Administration, to Languages and Information Technology, there can be no doubt that the area of greatest impact on the Office's daily work lies in the IP training activities organised by the Office's Human Resources and IP Policy departments (HRD & DIPP respectively).

The training calendar published by the HRD offers courses at all levels, starting with beginner introductions to Industrial Property in general and going on to cover topics as diverse as Geographical Indications, Appeal Proceedings, the TRIPS Agreements, National IP Law or the Madrid Protocol.
