Benefit from quick and easy payment of your CTM e-application fees
“Making the payment of filing fees easier via the Internet is in line with the e-business strategy of the Office and it will be of great benefit to CTM users” says Peter Lawrence, Vice-President of the OHIM.

The OHIM will launch a new facility to pay filing fees via credit card online. Initially, payment by credit card will be provided only for the payment of Community trademark applications filed electronically. Subsequently, this facility will also be extended to all online services.

The electronic payment system accepts credit cards from the most important credit card networks: VISA, MASTERCARD and EUROCARD. All transactions will be carried out in a framework which guarantees a high-level security for all transactions. The payment is deemed to have been accepted on the date it was successfully approved.

When electronically filing your Community trade mark application, apart from the existing payment option, a new option will be available: payment by credit card. When selecting this option, at the end of the filing process instead of clicking on “Submit” click on “Proceed with the payment”.
