What is e-filing?
e-filing is a new service provided by the Office
in order to enable our clients to apply for a Community Trade Mark
on-line, allowing, from your browser, for you to:
- Complete an electronic application form
- Provide the associated attachments
- Complete the necessary payment details
Why?
If you file your CTM application on-line, you will:
- Receive your CTM number immediately
- Benefit from on-line verification to assure error-free
filing and secure your filing date *
- Speed up entry into the registration process
- Print the completed application data
- Save the data locally to your PC
- Be able to recall your contact details for subsequent
applications
- Have ready access to the user-friendly
on-line help
How do I do it?
In order to submit an electronic application
form, you simply click on the link below and complete the following
steps:
- Complete the basic electronic application
form - then press

- Attach the requested documents (if applicable)
- then press

- Complete the payment details and sign -
then press

- Review your application before final submission
- then press
You will then receive a confirmation of receipt
of your application.
The basic application fee must be paid within
one month of the date of submission of the application in order
to obtain the receipt date as the filing date. The Office will not
issue a request for payment. If confirmation of receipt of payment
is required, a request must be sent by fax for the attention of
the Financial Department +34 965 139 113.
e-filing Batch Transfer Service - Business to
Business Solution
The OHIM provides a business-to-business solution
for our large clients, whereby based on an agreed transfer mechanism
across the Internet, our clients can send their CTM applications
directly from their own back-office systems directly to the OHIM.

The date of filing of a Community trade mark application shall be
the date on which documents containing the information specified
in Article 26(1) CTMR are filed with the Office by the applicant,
Central European Time, subject to payment of the application fee
within a period of one month of filing the above-mentioned documents.
